London Eurovision Party 2025 – taken by Studio DJC
Date: April 13, 2025
Venue: HERE at Outernet, London
Mood: Euphoric chaos with a side of aching feet.
I was already in London for a photoshoot that morning (more on that in a later post 👀), but the main event was always this — the London Eurovision Party 2025. Big acts, big screens, big feelings. And HERE at Outernet remains one of my absolute favourite venues. The sound is sharp, the visuals are epic, and it genuinely feels like a mini-Eurovision without the scorecards.
🚑 Pre-show wobble
My mate had a faint spell early on — low blood pressure and a tightly-packed crowd don’t mix. But after some fresh air and a perfectly-timed blast of Sweden’s sauna-themed set, he was back on his feet. Shoutout to Nordic steamy visuals for the assist.
🌍 Performances: Highlights & Hot Takes
🇵🇱 Poland – Star Power, Plain and Simple
The live vocals? Flawless. The confidence? Off the scale. Poland brought intensity and charisma that turned a great studio track into a proper Eurovision moment. One of the night’s biggest crowd reactions.

🇸🇲 San Marino – Gabry Ponte Brings the Bangers
This one was personal. Gabry Ponte was one of my first celebrity crushes back in the Top of the Pops days with Eiffel 65, so seeing him take to the stage for San Marino felt surreal. Then he dropped “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” mid-set and the crowd lost their collective minds. Pure Eurodance euphoria.

🇲🇹 Malta – Camp, Chaos and a Spice Girls Twist
Malta mashed up “Kant/Serving” with “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls and I still haven’t fully recovered. Totally unhinged. Totally brilliant.
🇦🇱 Albania – My Secret Fave
If Goldfrapp was raised in Tirana, you’d get something close to this. Stylish, aloof, and completely mesmerising. A masterclass in cool.
🇫🇮 Finland – Maximum Magnetism
Sex appeal on overdrive. Hotpants, attitude, and the kind of smirk that gets burned into your memory. She didn’t just perform — she claimed the space.
🇦🇹 Austria – JJ Delivers
JJ was a standout for all the right reasons. Strong vocals, total control, and a performance that felt effortless and confident. This guy could absolutely surprise people in Basel.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom – Remember Monday
Incredible harmonies and obvious talent, but the song choice just didn’t land. They sang a second original that suited them much better — shame that wasn’t the Eurovision track.
🇬🇧 Electro Velvet – Back from 2015 (And Still Stuck in My Head)
They reunited just for this show and rolled out “Still In Love With You”. It was messy, sure, but that chorus remains a lowkey bop. You can revisit the chaos here.

📝 Final Thoughts
My feet were shot, my phone battery was gasping, and my voice was long gone. But I’d do it all again in a heartbeat. There’s something truly magic about being in a room full of Eurovision fans — united by glitter, drama, and the joy of live music.
We even spotted Kaleen (one of the hosts) as we were heading out — serving post-show glam like a pro.
“From the lights to the lyrics, the London Eurovision Party reminded me that Eurovision isn’t just a contest — it’s a community. See you in Basel!”
