You do not need to know how to pose.
A portrait session with Studio DJC begins with the person—not a rigid shot list. We talk about what has brought you here, how you want the photographs to feel and what would help you settle in front of the camera.
You can arrive with a complete visual idea or with nothing more than a wish for photographs that finally feel like you. Direction is always there when you need it, but the aim is never to force you into somebody else’s version of confidence.
Sessions can take place outdoors, at home, at work or with Daniel’s mobile studio lighting and backdrops. The location and equipment serve the story.

How the session unfolds.
There is a plan, but there is also room to respond to what happens. The strongest portraits often live somewhere between direction and instinct.
Shape the idea.
We discuss mood, location, clothing and purpose. Reference images are welcome, but they are a starting point—not a template you have to imitate.
Guided, not staged.
The opening minutes are for settling in. Daniel helps with position, expression and movement while leaving space for natural moments.
Only the strongest.
Your final photographs are selected for expression and connection, then individually developed for colour, atmosphere and detail.
What to wear
Bring options. Keep the person visible.
Clothing should support the mood without swallowing you. Texture, layers and colours that belong to the location often photograph beautifully, but there is no compulsory Studio DJC uniform.
Daniel can help you decide what works for an indoor or outdoor setting. Bringing two or three options gives us freedom to change the energy without overthinking it.

Indoor or outdoor
Studio DJC is not limited to woodland and natural light. Daniel has a mobile studio with professional lighting, flash and backdrops, so a session can be shaped around your home, workplace, a hired space or a location outdoors.
